Introducing NEW Non-Invasive therapies: Emsculpt Neo, Emsella & Exomind!

EXOMIND

EXOMIND is our newest addition to Balanced Pain Management and wellness.

This treatment features transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) directed at the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) of the brain. This area of the brain is responsible for mood, decision making, impulse control and memory. TMS is FDA approved for the treatment of Major Depression Disorder and Chronic Anxiety and has been used safely for decades. It has also been shown to be helpful for insomnia, mental clarity, brain fog, migraine headaches and tremors.

Stimulation of the area of the brain increases synaptic transmission and neuroplasticity of the brain. Essentially, “sleepy” areas of the brain are activated and new brain pathways form. The stimulation activates excitatory and inhibitory brain pathways, so the effect is balanced. The inhibitory pathways are known to turn off the pain signal that tells the body that it is no longer in pain. Patients with chronic pain disorders often have under expression of this pathway so EXOMIND can also help treat chronic pain disorders by modulating and increasing the effect of this important brain function.

EXOMIND delivers TMS in a very comfortable and convenient way. The applicator lightly contacts the left side of the frontal scalp area and clients are positioned in a recliner for 25 to 30 minutes. A treatment series consists of 2 weekly sessions for 3 weeks. A total of 6 treatments has been shown to be highly effective.
