Balanced Pain Management treats patients who suffer with chronic pain by using a multi- dimensional approach. We devise a plan to treat each patient’s particular pain problem as well as the other disturbances which may have developed as a result of their chronic pain.
This is done by “attacking” the pain problem from all sides. In other words, the cause of the problem is treated as well as other factors which can cause the pain to be intensified. A carefully thought out plan is devised for each patient according to their unique problem. Treatment is usually in the form of a combination of therapies which include medications, pain “blocks” or injections, physical therapy and psychotherapy.
